Tudor House Plans
The turn of the 20 th century ushered in the revival of another European house style: Tudor house plans. Telltale features of the Tudor house plan style include massive chimneys topped with chimney pots as well as decorative half-timbered stucco, which calls to mind the construction methods of Medieval times. Homes sometimes feature beautifully patterned brickwork and often such masonry is combined with accents of half-timbered stucco. Narrow window panes are often arranged in groups of three and include diamond-shape muntins. Steep gable rooflines, sometimes sweeping nearly to the ground, call to mind the fairy-tale castles of yore. Inspired by the magnetism of the Tudor style, Alan Mascord Design Associates, Inc. offers this collection of house plans, which is sure to inspire you to build your dream castle.
